A remix by the mighty Bird Peterson of the Creedence Clearwater Revival Band (catchy name- not) protest song about the longstanding practice of rich oligarchs’ and senators’ sons dodging the draft, while the poor boys go off to fight in wars manufactured to make the oligarchs more wealthy, that the senators got them into in the first place.

This is from 1968, but I reckon it’s pretty much still relevant today (not so sure about the dirty south rap in the middle, mind…)

Bird Peterson I dont know much about except that he is out of Austin, Texas and makes all kindsa tunes with heavy bass and fine breaks. There’s a mix over at what’s the goodness (linked below) and of course a myspace page, which has quite a few tunes up.

You can get more of his shit on mp3 over at turntablelab or gigacrate- you’ll have to seek the vinyl out on your own…
