My lust for all things Fulton-related is starting to get a bit silly…. Lord knows how this slipped me by – but I noticed it on a lot of people’s 2006 fave tracks, and blagged a copy and it’s been on the heaviest of rotations ever since. I just don’t know anyone who is producing such disco cuts that sound simultaneously so contemporary and so timeless… such lush handclaps and a wonderful piano hook, all sorts of sub-wooftery goodness going on and loads of gratuitous space noises.
Alice Smith had an album out on BBE last year that I haven’t had the pleasure of.
