Something much less fidgety than one might have expected from Dave Taylor, of an overlooked house classic from a few years back with a cluth of remixes including one from Kerri Chandler and Stefan Goldmann. This is deep and delectable, and makes me rue the fact that I never seem to make it out these sorts of nights out no more.
I also can’t recommend hi’nuff the Prins “Albert John” Thomas remix of Blackjoy’s Moustache, one of my personal faves to sashay out of the nu-disco scene.
Had the misfortune to see 54 t’other night, the movie that documents legendary club Studio 54 that was probably most responsible for fanning the flames of the disco backlash and… I could go on, but basically, the movie was a crappy as I imagine the club to have been. A couple of nice tunes on the soundtrack though, that might make their way on here soon.

Have only just got round to listening to this (my life shennanigans have led me to neglect the blog of late, sorry) but I'd forgotten that I owned the original and had failed to make the link between that Blackjoy and the artist responsible for Moustache. Cheers Kev!
