Cutty Ranks - A Who Seh Me Dun (Wake De Man)
2007-04-14 by Kevvy KInspired by the mention of Murder She Wrote, (which uses the same rhythm) and the glorious weekend sunshine (are we too English in the way we always go on about the weather on this blog?) and the exuberant bulges of cherry blossom outside my living room window, I figured it was the right time for this classic slice of dancehall. Not going to pretend to sound knowledgeable or insightful about this, as I stray quickly out of my musical comfort zone, other than the fact that Cutty was so called due to his pre-dancehall career as a butcher, and that this came off his 96 album, 6 Million Ways To Die.

The rhythm's from Murder She Wrote not Tease Me. Nice tune though, Kev!
The rhythm is called Bam Bam. The original version is by Pliers and its very good.
Just had a listen and realised this was sampled for the track "Wede Man" by Selectah. I got it on Dope Classics 1:
