Just a quick one here as I’m on my way out, but while we’re on a Detroit tip couldn’t resist posting this gem from back in 1988. Yep that’s right – 1988. Just goes to show how far ahead of his time the master Derrick May was back then.
It starts with some acid squidge which sounds typical for the time, but before you know it the amazing bassline and lush strings hit and you know this isn’t just some acid house track, it’s something else way beyond… something beautiful.
