Judging by Now that we found love (also on this album) I always thought Heavy D’s tracks were kinda lame, but this one has the legendary Pete Rock on production (and on the track, unfortunately- stay behind the turntables pete!), and it’s a killer. The sample’s from Booker T and the MGs hip hug-her, and is also used on Ice Cube’s giving up the nappy dug-out- but that is so last week…
Apparently Heavy D aint so heavy no more- he’s lost about 120lbs since this was out…
