Tommy Squeaker and me are going to see Moodymann tomorrow night and I’m getting excited. He very rarely plays on these shores and I’ve never heard him play before. In honour of this occasion I thought I’d post one of my favourite Moodymann tunes, of which there are quite a few. This track is not his most dancefloor friendly, but its very deep and very soulful and its been a firm favourite of mine ever since I first laid ears on it some time ago.
This track features on the three track ‘Don’t Be Misled’ EP on the Detroit side: ‘A place where neggahs roam, neggahs like me’.
