The Prodigy – Your Love
OK so let’s get this piano show on the road, and to kick it off we have arguably one of the greatest piano anthems of all time.
The Charly 12” (which this track comes from) was the first ever rave record I bought. I heard Charly out at a club on the Friday night and was in the record shop on Saturday – still spaced out – asking the guy “have you got the one that goes Meeeowwowooowoooo”, in proper sing-along-a-techno-karaoke style. He immediately knew the one I was after and sorted me out.
Although Charly was massive at the time, Your Love is the one that has proved to have longevity, and to me is the best thing The Prodigy ever produced (the remix which they put on the Experience LP is crap in comparison).
So get those hands in the air and we’ll move on to more piano-led goodness…

I've always found this one to be particularly evocative of those early rave days. It featured on about 90% of the mixtapes I had at the time I reckon. Prodigy did a live PA at the first ever rave I went to too.
boh!!!
Awesome tune. I prefer "fire" (I am the God of Hellfire, and I bring you!!...) or "wind it up" better, but this one's legendary as well. I'm surprised you don't like the lp remix, i think it's pretty well done. Even though it doesn't have that extracool atmospheric break after min. 4. In the case of "fire", for example, I actually prefer the lp remix, called Sunrise Version.
you should show the people some more of this old tunes, some 2 bad mice, or some 4 hero…
