Italian Anticappella were clearly influenced by the techno sound coming out of Belgium around 1991, giving this tune two completely distinct flavours: it’s mostly piano-driven Italian house but occasionally lapses into full-on synth stab Belgian techno. Sounds a bit weird I know, but as both the piano and techno parts are good it works for me.
The piano and vocal are sampled to great effect on Red Alert & Pepsi’s hardcore slammer Don Gorgon Sound (thanks to Scott at Celler Dweller for this one!)
