Pete Rock & InI – Grown Man Sport

A genius sampling of ‘Water Get No Enemy’ (see below). You expect nothing less from Pete Rock. This features on the album ‘Center of Attention’ which I have mentioned before on this blog, but never posted from.

InI consisted of a Pete Rock plus a few not greatly known but very talented and conscious rappers, such as Rob O and Grap Luva (Pete Rock’s cousin). Their album didn’t get a proper release the first time round. Thankfully the fine folk at BBE records saw fit to put it out a few years after it was recorded. I thank them for this as ‘Center of Attention’ is one of my favourite Hip Hop albums.
