Tangerine Dream – Love On A Real Train Part 2 (Sex Scene)
Having just said that I don’t know about Tangerine Dream and don’t listen to film soundtracks I immediately bring you a track by Tangerine Dream from a soundtrack – clever stuff, huh? This is (I think) the only Tangerine Dream soundtrack track that I know, so I wasn’t completely lying.
From the Risky Business OST, versions of this tune crop up throughout the film but this one is from the sex scene on a train (hence the title I guess). YouTube it if you must, but remember it’s Tom Cruise so not pretty stuff.
I’m not going to step on Hal’s toes by going into details of the synth setup used by Tangerine Dream, mainly because I know absolutely nothing about it. Suffice to say this is a beautiful little ambient number that to my ears owes an awful lot to some of Steve Reich’s 1970s compositions.
