Alicia Bridges – Body Heat
This is flying straight to the top of my camp and somewhat cheesy but still totally working on the dancefloor disco/rock crossover chart at the moment. Alicia Bridges of I Love the Nightlife fame sleazily extolls the virtues of good old fashioned promiscuity as a means of dispelling the night time chill.
Lots to love (for me at least) in this tune, but noteworthy as well for the kind of proto-glitch bits in the middle that kind of take one by surprise. I was tuerned on to this track by the recent outing of the mighty Horse Meat Disco on Beats in Space that you can check out here (scroll down to May 28th).
