I’ve just been digitally shopping over at turntablelab, and was particularly taken by DJ Will Roc’s 3 Miles from Nowhere EP- featuring some of the softer sound of Baltimore. Sure it has samples and breaks and such, but not so hype, and and Will Roc brings his own original synth work much of which is good and deep and warm, and also atmospheric. Glad you like- it dont do much, but what it do is fat with a capital PH
I was well pleased with the title of this particular post too. I do like a nice bit of parentheses- I may try and work in a nod to the Quo in my next post (while being careful not to do my back in!)
