Timo Camillo and Alevol – Tea Stories #000
I’d like to point you in the direction of a couple of lovely tracks from Timo Camillo and Alevol, released on their new label 26 Tea Drops. They’re ambient house guaranteed to soften your mood, incredibly laid back and with a large pinch of KDJ influence.
Timo Camillo’s A New Day grows gradually from the opening synth strings with the addition of chunky piano chords and bongos, eventually building beautifully into a subtle house groove. Alveol’s epic Blue Lips continues in the same mood with a super-subtle but insistent beat backed by mellow chords and layered with darting little snatches of synth twiddles.
Both tracks are beautifully and thoughtfully produced to give some of the nicest chill-out music you’re likely to hear. Check them out on SoundCloud, and if you like them it’s got to be worth supportiung the artists by buying the mp3s – only £2.29 for the pair, cheaper than almost anything these days!
