Doug E. Fresh & the Get Fresh Crew feat. MC Ricky D – La Di Da Di

I’m sure you all know this one so I won’t say too much about it – it was the AA side to The Show, which was a UK smash hit back in ‘85, bringing a craze for human beatboxing to the masses.

Doug E. Fresh is in the middle of the picture here; the rest of his Get Fresh Crew are Barry Bee and Chill Will. MC Ricky D who features here of course went on to record solo as the witty and hugely influential Slick Rick.

    he was born and lived in south wimbledon until he was 10 and moved to the bronx with his folks. it could've happened to me!

    Doug E Fresh is a scientologist nowadays. I think he even recorded a tune extolling the virtues of the faith.
