Far, far too long since I posted any Theo so here’s something relatively recent – released end of last year, but I think it’s his first solo Sound Signature thing since the Rotating Assembly stuff and the Ugly Edits. It’s challenging stuff – out there is right – but I’m a fan. There’s something about the way he brings together the disparate elements that always seem on the verge of collapsing into chaos but end up with a truly compelling shuffling groove to them.
While I’m here, I’ll rant about the fact that Christmas decorations are up already round town and starting to be switched on. It’s barely mid November for lordy’s sake. Nothing new, but it rankles with me every year. Hitting the Big Apple at the start of next month is a different mattter – I want to see the city twinkle then. Looking forward to catching up, Rob!
